What Time Should I Schedule My Portrait Session?

Sunrise Portraits
Sunrise portraits are gorgeous, cool for couples, and ideal if you're a morning person.
Pros: Soft light, cooler temperatures, quiet and peaceful, no photo bombers (you will basically have the location to yourself), you can comfortably extend photography time as the light transitions gorgeously, and you can plan the rest of the day for yourself.
Cons: "What time do I have to wake up during my vacation?" :)

Early Morning Portraits
Early morning portraits usually start around 9.
Pros: A little more sleep time, breakfast time! (before or after), vibrant colors, nice temperature, fairly quiet, moderate temperatures
Cons: Can be bright (Don't worry, your photographer will try to keep you in the shade). We will work around the sun to avoid mix or harsh lighting, and squinting etc

Sunset Portraits
Sunset portraits are the most popular, as sunsets are undoubtedly beautiful.
Pros: No alarm clocks necessary, transitions into soft light, comfortable temperatures, finish in time for dinner.
Cons: Time sensitive (it gets dark after sunset), not all sunsets are created equal  Bahamas Family PhotographyBahamas Family Photographysunset beach portraits in The Bahamas
